Malaria alert - Anopheles mosquito areas

These are the areas in Singapore where the Anopheles mosquito has been know to hang out. NEA has so far not found any evidence of Anopheles, so the situation could well be already under control.

Because the incubation period for malaria can be quite long, usually 9-40 days, the cases surfacing at the moment may have all been infected a few weeks ago.
