Swine flu, or Influenza A (H1N1) - what's in a name

It's quite comical really the games people play. In the past they were just quite happy to stick on country labels to the pandemics, because it was always someone else - Spanish flu, Asian flu, Hong Kong flu...etc.... now you can't do that anymore. The Mexican's object to it being called the Mexican flu, even though they are the epicentre. And no, you can't call it the American flu, even though that's where most of the flu is at the moment. No you can't call it the Swine flu, 'cos you will put people off eating pork and kill the pork industry.

So let's just call it the Influenza A (H1N1) flu.

Yay.
