NUS investment losses

Universities globally, especially those dependent on the revenue they get endowment investments have taken a hit. So the National University of Singapore is no exception. Even so the amount lost is mind boggling - S$677 million!!! This loss resulted in a deficit of S$589 million!

I hope they will cut the expensive salaries of their prima donnas rather than to divert much needed resources from their teaching budget.

The Nanyang Technological University has yet to 'fess up to their losses.

I guess we'll have to watch and wait to see if budgets get cut. :)
