The SCDF and CNB done in by a local Matahari?

Slowly the story begins to unfold, and the public awaits the sordid details about the dramatic falls from grace of the SCDF and CNB Chiefs. Much has been made of the fact that no money may have changed hands and that they had been done in by booze, makan and a local Matahari.

But I think we might be missing the point here.

Fact is two very big guns from the Ministry of Home Affairs had been so easily snared by the wiles of one woman. A pretty mysterious one at that. So much for our national security. I mean, these were no less than two major units with the Home Ministry! The Mas Selamat debacle pales by comparison.

Methinks our Minister of Home Affairs need to give us a bit more reassurance than to tell us the guilty will be punished.

Darkness was right. The problem is not sex. It is lack of sex.

Thank God you said 'matahari'. For a moment I thought it was 'Mahathir'.You can't blame me with goings on in the north!

Can it be that as there is now obscene pay to prevent corruption, the AGC will not charge high ranking elites with corruption (that being their unquestioned prerogative to proffer charges against any individual as they see fit) so as to not discredit the linkage for high pay with no corruption?

The MSM have taken great pains to emphasize that the pair were not seduced by kickbacks, not $, but SEX.

This is of utmost importance in order not to pull the carpet from under LHL's feet.

Looks to me they have already completed their investigations but now merely waiting for the right moment to release it.

The MIW are really great schemers -just look at the timing for the publicity on WP's Yaw two-timing and Jack Neo (PAP's 'almost' GE candidate for GE2011) 're-emergence' from the cold.

Why are they still so wishy washy about the whole matter ?

Something to cover up again ?

One can't help thinking that Alan Shahrake might be right afterall that the system is rotten at the top ?

Who cares if civil servants & politicans get into affairs? I think the main question is whether there were favours returned for the sex. If there was, then it is corruption because one party got finanical gains out of it. If not, then there's no problem.
